The National Maritime Museum at Greenwich was established in 19341. A Board of Trustees was established for the purpose of managing the museum2. The board is a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal3. The powers of the board may be exercised notwithstanding any vacancy in its number4. The board may make rules for regulating its proceedings5.
The site of the museum is vested in the board6. The board:
(1) may make such alterations as may be necessary to adapt any buildings on that land for use for the purposes of the museum7;
