An express power of sale1 is exercisable only by the persons who are designated for that purpose by the power2.
A power of sale in a mortgage to two mortgagees who are expressed to advance the money on a joint account3 is exercisable by the survivor4, but a power of sale in a mortgage to partners is not exercisable by one unless it is so expressed in the mortgage5.
