Where there are successive incumbrancers, the order directs redemption by them according to their priorities1, a later mortgagee on redeeming the prior mortgagees being given the right to foreclose subsequent mortgagees and the mortgagor unless they in their turn redeem him2. The order may declare the priorities of the various incumbrancers3, or direct an inquiry as to priorities4. If the claim is brought by a later mortgagee to redeem the first mortgagee and he fails to redeem, the claim will be dismissed with costs as against the mortgagor as well as the first mortgagee
