628. Statutory jurisdiction to order sale of bankrupt's land.

The trustee in bankruptcy of a person who has an interest in property subject to a trust of land may apply for an order for the sale of the land1. On such an application the court will make such order as it thinks just and reasonable having regard to:


    (1)     the interests of the bankrupt's creditors2;


    (2)     in certain circumstances, the conduct of the spouse or civil partner or former spouse or civil partner, so far as contributing to the bankruptcy, and his or her needs and financial resources;


    (3)     the needs of the children; and


    (4)     all the
