621. Statutory jurisdiction to order sale.

In any proceedings, whether for foreclosure1, or for redemption2, or for sale, or for the raising and payment in any manner of mortgage money3, the court4 may direct a sale5 of the mortgaged property6 on the request of the mortgagee or of any person interested either in the mortgage money or the right of redemption7, notwithstanding the dissent of any other person8, and notwithstanding that the mortgagee or any person so interested does not appear in the proceedings9. This provision extends to equitable mortgages and charges10. Any person entitled to redeem mortgaged property may have a judgment or order
