116. Consumer credit legislation as it affects mortgages.

The Consumer Credit Act 1974 establishes a code for the regulation of the provision to individuals of credit1. The Act provides for the making of regulations as to the form and content of regulated agreements2 and deals with, amongst other things, the cancellation3, termination4 and enforcement5 of, and withdrawal from6, such agreements.
