The Coal Authority1 is required to establish and maintain a register in which it enters particulars of certain notices, orders, designations, confirmations of orders and agreements2. It must also preserve a copy of every document particulars of which are entered in that register3.
If any person furnishes the Authority with any information for these purposes which he knows to be false in a material particular, or recklessly furnishes the Authority with any information which is false in a material particular, he is guilty of an offence and liable on summary conviction, to a fine not exceeding the statutory maximum
