The power of the appropriate national authority1 by a development order2 to make the planning permission3 granted by any such order subject to conditions includes power, in relation to any permission to win or work any minerals4 in a coal mine5 started before 1 July 1948, to make it a condition of that permission that there is compliance with certain requirements6 as may be specified or described in the order7.
