356. Facilities for United Kingdom Research and Innovation.

Before any person sinks, for the purpose of searching for or getting any minerals1, a shaft or borehole intended to reach a depth of more than 30.480 metres below the surface, he must give to United Kingdom Research and Innovation ('UKRI') written notice of his intention to do so2.
