An order1 does not have effect unless confirmed by the appropriate national authority2; and where it has been confirmed, has effect (with such modifications as the appropriate national authority may have determined in confirming it) so as to suspend the right of way to which it relates with effect3 from such date as may be determined by the appropriate national authority and specified in the order as confirmed4.
