The owner1 of a mine2 must not appoint another person to be the mine operator3 unless that person is suitable and has sufficient resources to be able to operate the mine safely4.
Where the owner of a mine appoints another person to be the mine operator: (1) the owner must provide the mine operator with any relevant information that is available, or that becomes available, about circumstances that might affect the health and safety of persons at the mine
