Special provisions apply where the land1 comprised in a compulsory rights order2 consists of or includes land ('the tenant's land') which, immediately before the date of entry3, constituted or formed part of an agricultural holding held under a tenancy in relation to which the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986 applies4, and which is land on which, before that date, there had been carried out long-term improvements5 qualifying for compensation under that Act6, or there had been adopted a special system of farming so qualifying7 for compensation8.
