As soon as reasonably practicable after the end of each financial year1 the Coal Authority must prepare a report2 on its activities during that year and send a copy to the Secretary of State3, who must, as soon as reasonably practicable after he has received it, lay a copy of it before each House of Parliament4. The Authority must arrange for copies of every annual report to be published in such manner as it considers appropriate for securing that the information contained in it is available to the persons likely to be interested in it
