942. Withdrawal of consent.

Where the consent of a patient1 to any treatment has been given2 the patient may at any time before the completion of the treatment withdraw his consent; the statutory provisions then apply to the remainder of the treatment as if it were a separate form of treatment3.

Where the consent of a patient to any treatment has been given4 but before the completion of the treatment, the patient loses capacity or (as the case may be) competence to consent to the treatment, the patient is treated as having withdrawn his consent and the statutory provisions then apply as if the
