625. Validity and applicability of advance decisions.

625.     Validity and applicability of advance decisions.

An advance decision1 does not affect the liability which a person may incur for carrying out or continuing a treatment2 in relation to a person ('P') unless the decision is at the material time valid, and applicable to the treatment3.

An advance decision is not valid if P: (1) has withdrawn the decision at a time when he had capacity4 to do so5; (2) has, under a lasting power of attorney6 created after the advance decision was made, conferred authority on the donee (or, if more than one, any of them)
