The following provisions apply where a community patient1 is recalled to hospital2 or a patient is liable to be detained under the Mental Health Act 1983 following the revocation of a community treatment order3 in respect of him4.
For the purposes of the administration of medicine where consent or a second opinion is required5, the patient is to be treated as if he had remained liable to be detained since the making of the community treatment order6.
