Social Work England1 may approve courses for persons who are, or wish to become, approved to act as approved mental health professionals2 by a local social services authority3 whose area is in England4. Social Work England must publish a list of the courses which it has approved and the courses which it has, but no longer, approves and the periods for which they were so approved5.
Social Care Wales6 may, in accordance with rules made by it, approve courses for persons who are, or wish to become, approved to act as approved mental health professionals
