Where a patient1 is given treatment2, a report on it and the patient's condition must be given by the approved clinician in charge of treatment3 to the regulatory authority4 on the next occasion on which he furnishes a report for renewal of authority for detention5 and at any other time if so required by the regulatory authority6. Special provision is made in respect of restricted patients7. The regulatory authority may at any time give notice to the approved clinician in charge of the treatment directing that, except in cases of urgent treatment
