Directions as to the practice and procedure of the Court of Protection1 may be made2. The Lord Chief Justice may nominate the President of the Court of Protection or a judicial office holder3 to carry out his functions under these provisions4.
Practice Directions have been made in relation to the following:
(1) circumstances in which an authorised court officer is able to exercise the jurisdiction of the court5;
(2) general provisions relating to court documents6;
(3) documents to be verified by a statement of truth7;
(4) service by document exchange8;
