A provider1 must not appoint an individual as a care coordinator2 unless the individual is eligible to be appointed3 as a care coordinator4. The appropriate national authority5 may by regulations make provision about the eligibility of individuals to be appointed as a care coordinator which may make provision relating to a person's qualifications, skills, training or experience6.
