Where a patient1 is transferred in pursuance of the regulations for that purpose2, the effect is that in the case of transfer from hospital3 to hospital the patient is treated as if he had been admitted to the receiving hospital on the same day as that on which he was originally admitted to the sending hospital and by virtue of the same application as that which authorised his admission to the sending hospital4.
