860. Effect of hospital orders, guardianship orders and interim hospital orders.

Where an offender is admitted to hospital1 or placed under guardianship by virtue of a hospital order, a guardianship order or an order or direction having the same effect as such orders2, he must be treated for the purpose of the general statutory provisions relating to compulsory admission or guardianship3 as if on the date of the order he had been admitted or placed in pursuance of an application for admission for treatment or a guardianship application4, but with some exceptions and modifications
