There are corporate bodies known as clinical commissioning groups1.
As from 1 April 20132, each clinical commissioning group has the function of arranging for the provision of services for the purposes of the health service in England in accordance with the National Health Service Act 20063 and may arrange for the provision of such services or facilities as it considers appropriate for the purposes of the health service that relate to securing improvement in the mental health of the persons for whom it has responsibility4.
