A consent to the use of any embryo1 must specify one or more of the following purposes:
(1) use in providing treatment services2 to the person giving consent, or that person and another specified person together3;
(2) use in providing treatment services to persons not including the person giving consent4,
(3) use for the purpose of training persons in embryo biopsy, embryo storage or other embryological techniques5; or
(4) use for the purposes of any project of research6,
and may specify conditions subject to which the embryo may be so used7.
