Where the name of a person has been erased from the register by direction of a fitness to practise committee or medical practitioners tribunal1, an application may be made to the registrar2 who must refer the application to the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service3 for them to arrange for the application to be determined by a medical practitioners tribunal4 which may, if it thinks fit, direct that the person's name be restored to the register5.
