The appropriate authority1 may by regulations make provision for or in connection with requiring designated bodies2 to nominate or appoint responsible officers persons or persons to be known by such name as is prescribed3. The regulations may make provision:
(1) for conditions that must be satisfied in relation to a person if that person is to be nominated or appointed as, or remain as, a responsible officer of a designated body4;
