The provisions described below apply where an applicant1 is a person who: (1) has a relevant recognised qualification2 or a relevant unrecognised qualification3; (2) does not have a recognised qualification4 granted by an institution within the United Kingdom5; and (3) is not treated as having a recognised qualification6.
An application7 must be made in accordance with the specified requirements8.
The registrar must, in considering an application by an applicant who has a relevant unrecognised qualification but not a relevant recognised qualification, treat the applicant as having a recognised qualification upon being satisfied that he has reached the required standard of proficiency9
