Where an appealable registration decision1 is made, the person making the decision2 must serve on the person concerned notice of the decision, the reasons for the decision and the person's right to appeal3. Failure to serve on an applicant notification of a decision in respect of an application for registration, retention or restoration (including registration or restoration of an entry relating to a specialty or proficiency) in respect of an appealable registration decision4 within the requisite period is treated as a decision from which the applicant may appeal5.
