The dentists register is kept by a registrar1 appointed by the General Dental Council2. Any person appointed to the office of registrar holds the office for such period and receives such salary as may be fixed by the Council3. The registrar must perform such duties in connection with the register as the Council may direct, and in the execution of his duties he must act on such evidence as in each case appears to him sufficient4.
