An exception from being a 'regulated activity' for the purposes of the Health and Social Care Act 20081 is the provision of treatment2 in a surgery or consulting room by a medical practitioner3 who is (or group of medical practitioners who are) (1) a service provider4 in respect of a regulated activity relating to treatment of disease, disorder or injury5 or employed6 by such a service provider; and (2) either on the medical performers list
