An assessment team1 or, as the case may be, the individual performance assessor2 must, having regard to the nature of the practitioner's employment or as appropriate previous employment, adopt such procedures as appear necessary in order to assess the standard of the practitioner's3 professional performance4. The assessment team or the individual performance assessor may seek advice or information from any person who might, in the opinion of the team, assist it in carrying out the assessment5. The assessment team or the individual performance assessor must disclose to the practitioner any written information or opinion received by the assessment team
