Registered pharmacists1 are required to be entered on either Part 1 or Part 4 of the register2 held by the General Pharmaceutical Council3 and registered pharmacy technicians4 are required to be entered on either Part 2 or Part 5 of the register5. A pharmacist is exempted from certain restrictions relating to the sale and supply of medicinal products6 and the professions of registered pharmacist and registered pharmacy technician are exempted professions for the purposes of statutory protection for rehabilitated persons7.
