A qualification may be recognised by the General Council1: (1) only in respect of awards of that qualification made after a specified date2; (2) only in respect of awards made before a specified date3; or (3) only in respect of awards made after a specified date but before another specified date4. Where the General Council recognises a qualification in one or other of the limited ways set out in heads (1) to (3) above, the limitation must be specified in the list of qualifications5 issued by the General Council6.
