The following applies to the professional conduct committee, the professional performance committee, the health committee and the interim orders committee1.
Where a committee is satisfied that it is necessary for the protection of the public or is otherwise in the public interest, or is in the interests of the person concerned, for the person's registration, or for the person's registration in the dental care professionals register2 under a particular title, to be suspended or to be made subject to conditions, the committee may make:
(1) an order that his registration in the register is suspended
