Consequent to the UK's withdrawal from the EU, this Halsbury paragraph should be read in conjunction with the European Qualifications (Health and Social Care Professions) (Amendment etc) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019, SI 2019/593, pending incorporation of the changes into the text.

A registrant1 who practises as a pharmacist or pharmacy technician must have in force an indemnity arrangement which provides appropriate cover2 in relation to that registrant in respect of liabilities which may be incurred in practising as such3.

The General Pharmaceutical Council may make rules in connection with the information to be provided to the registrar4:
