Consequent to the UK's withdrawal from the EU, this Halsbury paragraph should be read in conjunction with the European Qualifications (Health and Social Care Professions) (Amendment etc) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019, SI 2019/593, pending incorporation of the changes into the text.

The main statutory provisions relating to chiropractors are the Chiropractors Act 1994 and rules made under that Act. A 'registered chiropractor' for the purposes of that Act1 is a person who is registered2 as a fully registered chiropractor3, as a conditionally registered chiropractor4
