Subject to the provisions of the Medical Act 1983, any person whose fitness to practise is not impaired1 and who: (1) holds one or more primary United Kingdom qualifications2 and has satisfactorily completed an acceptable programme for provisionally registered doctors3; or (2) being a national of any relevant European state holds one or more primary European qualifications4, is entitled to be registered as a fully registered5 medical practitioner6.
A person registered with full or provisional registration7 is entitled to have registered the primary United Kingdom qualification, or qualifications, or primary European qualification, or qualifications, which he holds when he is
