Where in any relevant period1 a registrant has a shortfall in CET requirements2 the registrar3 may on or after 1 January in the year immediately after that relevant period remove from or refuse to retain in the register: (1) the name of the registrant; or (2) in any case where the possible shortfall relates to a speciality4, particulars of that speciality which are entered against the registrant's name in the appropriate register5.
