Regulations made by the General Medical Council1 may make provision for a licensing authority2 to refuse to grant, to withdraw, or to refuse to restore, a licence to practise3 to a medical practitioner in any case where the medical practitioner does not provide the licensing authority with such evidence or information4 as the authority may reasonably request for certain purposes5.
