Upon consideration of an allegation1 referred from case examiners2, the investigation committee3 may: (1) determine that the allegation should not proceed further4; (2) dispose of the allegation by issuing a warning5 to the practitioner6 without an oral hearing7; (3) determine that an oral hearing should be held for determination8; (4) refer the allegation to the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service for them to arrange for determination by a medical practitioners tribunal
