Having considered the appeal, the appeals committee may:
(1) dismiss the appeal1;
(2) allow the appeal and quash the decision appealed against, or, in the case of an appeal against a decision to send an alert about a person2, direct that the alert be withdrawn or amended3;
(3) substitute for the decision appealed against for any other decision that the person taking the decision could have taken4;
(4) with respect to an appeal where the General Pharmaceutical Council has failed to make a decision in relation to a European professional card within the applicable time5, enter any decision which
