Where the investigation committee1 is considering an allegation2 against an individual registrant3, or where it receives a referral from the case examiners4, the committee may appoint5 one or more persons to assess and report to them on the registrant's health or the standard or quality of the work done or being done by the registrant6. The committee may direct the registrant to meet with the person or persons appointed and to submit to any examination required for the purposes of their assessment and report7.
