The General Medical Council1 may appoint persons to visit places where instruction is given to medical students under the direction of any body or combination of bodies included in the list2 maintained under the Medical Act 19833. It is the duty of such visitors to report to the Council as to the sufficiency of the instruction given in the places which they visit and as to any other matters relating to the instruction which may be specified by the Council either generally or in any particular case; but no visitor may interfere with the giving of any instruction
