An appeal1 from: (1) any order or decision of the fitness to practise committee2, other than an interim order3, lies to the appropriate court4; and (2) a decision5 of the Nursing and Midwifery Council6 or of the investigating committee7 lies to the County Court8. In any such appeal, the Council is the respondent9.
The court may10: (a) dismiss the appeal11; (b) allow the appeal and quash the decision appealed against or, in the case of an appeal where an alert or sent12 , direct that the alert be withdrawn or amended12; (c) substitute for the decision appealed against any other
