The appeals committee is a committee of the General Pharmaceutical Council1. The committee has the functions assigned to it under the Pharmacy Order 20102. The Council must make such provision as it considers appropriate in rules in connection with the procedure to be followed and rules of evidence to be observed by the appeals committee3. For the purposes of proceedings under the Pharmacy Order 20104 the appeals committee may administer oaths and the appeals committee, or any party to proceedings before it, may apply for the issue of a witness summons directing a person to attend the proceedings in
