355. Advisers.

The General Dental Council1 must appoint persons to be legal advisers2, may appoint registered medical practitioners3 to be medical advisers4, and may appoint persons registered in either the dentist's register5 or the dental care professionals register6 to be professional advisers7. Advisers have the general function of giving advice to: (1) the registrar8; (2) the Council; (3) the investigating committee; (4) the professional conduct committee; (5) the professional performance committee; (6) the interim orders committee; (7) the health committee; and (8) the registration appeals committee9
