75. Activities within the remit of the Authority.

The following activities are within the remit of the Human Tissue Authority1:

  1.  

    (1)     the removal from a human body, for use for a scheduled purpose2 of any relevant material3 of which the body consists or which it contains4;

  2.  

    (2)     the use, for a scheduled purpose, of the body of a deceased person or relevant material which has come from a human body5;

  3.  

    (3)     the storage of an anatomical specimen6 or former anatomical specimen7;

  4.  

    (4)     the storage (in any case not falling within head (3) above) of the body of a deceased person or relevant material which has come from
