A protected long tenancy1 at a low rent2 may be brought to an end at its term date3 by not less than one month's notice in writing given by the tenant4 to the immediate landlord5.
A tenancy continuing after its term date6 may be brought to an end at any time by not less than one month's notice in writing given by the tenant to the immediate landlord, whether the notice is given after or before the term date of the tenancy
