The landlord1 may terminate a protected2 long tenancy3 at a low rent4 by notice given to the tenant5 in the prescribed form6 specifying the date at which the tenancy is to come to an end ('the date of termination'), being either the term date7 of the tenancy or a later date8.
Such a notice does not have effect unless:
(1) it is given not more than 12 nor less than six months before the date of termination specified in it9;
(2) it specifies the premises which the landlord believes to be, or to be likely to be, the premises qualifying
