The provisions below come into force in substance on 1 June 2019: SI 2019/857.
Enforcement of the prohibitions on tenant fees applying to landlords1 and letting agents2 and the requirements relating to holding deposits3 is the duty of local weights and measures authorities in England4. A district council which is not a local weights and measures authority may also enforce the prohibitions and requirements5.
